Directions to the Center

ROAD CONSTRUCTION NEWS - updated March 30, 2007

Scheduled to begin in late April, the intersection of Drake and Maple roads will be reconstructed as a roundabout as part of the Road Commission of Oakland County (RCOC) Northwestern Connector project. Once this project starts, Drake will be closed at Maple for the duration of the project, affecting access to our West Bloomfield building until early July. The county's recommended detour route for Drake traffic is 14 Mile to Farmington Road to Walnut Lake Road and back to Drake and vice versa. While Maple will remain open through the intersection during the project, motorists should expect delays.

After construction is completed, the following directions will apply:

From the north: Take Telegraph Road south to Maple Road (15 Mile), turn right, go west six miles to Drake Road, cross Drake Road, building is on your right on the northwest corner of Drake and Maple.

From the south: From Middlebelt Road, go north to Maple Road (15 Mile), turn left, go west three miles to Drake Road, cross Drake Road, building is on your right on the northwest corner of Drake and Maple.

From the east: Take I-696 to Orchard Lake Road exit, turn right, take Orchard Lake Road north to Maple Road (15 Mile), turn left, go west two miles to Drake Road, cross Drake Road, building is on your right on the northwest corner of Drake and Maple.

From the west: Take I-96 to Route 5 exit (Haggerty connector), which empties onto 14 Mile Road. Turn right go about one mile to Haggerty, turn left, go one mile north to Maple, turn right. Go west about one mile, JCC will be on your left on the northwest corner of Drake and Maple.

From the south: Take Greenfield Road to 10 Mile Road, go east (turn right) one-half mile, JCC will be on your left between Rue Versailles and Church Streets.

From the east: Take I-696 west to Coolidge Road exit (empties onto 10 Mile Road). Go west about ¼ mile, just past the Church Street traffic signal. JCC will be on your right hand side.

From the west: Take I-696 east to Coolidge Road exit (empties onto 10 Mile Road). Go to the left over 696 onto the service road going west. Go west about ¼ mile, just past the Church Street traffic signal. JCC will be on your right hand side.
