Development Assistant (West Bloomfield)
Part-time person to provide support to the
development department through administrative
assistance, coordination of tasks and maintenance of
donor records as needed.
Must have:
Two years experience in administrative assistant
position
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Effective communication skills
Ability to work independently
Knowledge of general office equipment
Experience with Microsoft Office

Accounting Director (West Bloomfield)
Responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of data in monthly financial statements and other financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and:
Provide training for department end-users in order to help them understand and utilize the available financial information.
Responsible with for monthly financial reporting.
Implement and monitor accounting procedures and policies to maintain a strong internal control environment and consistent financial reporting to ensure the accuracy of financial data.
Prepare annual budget for Agency. Work with department directors to develop budget including volume projections, revenue and expense analyses.
Assist department directors and CFO in monitoring actual versus budgeted activity on a monthly basis. Problem solve with management to determine operational reasons for and action plans to correct significant negative budget variances.
Collaborate with outside auditing firm on annual audit.
Hire, supervise, counsel and develop accounting staff.
Desired Qualifications
Strong financial analysis skills are required.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) preferred.
Five (5) years of experience accounting and budgeting is required.
Previous supervisory experience required.
Experience with Great Plains and FRX preferred.

CARPENTER
Candidates must be:
Able to repair doors and frames
Able to repair and install locks and keys
Able to repair drywall
Able to replace glass
Able to repair furniture and assemble furniture
Able to install ceiling tiles and grid work
Able to work from ladders and scaffolding
Able to work with Facilities crew with snow removal and general building repairs
Able to use hand and power tools
Able to perform repairs and install flooring
Able to work in a team environment and in a safe manner
Able to build cabinets and tables
Willing to work at both West Bloomfield and Oak Park facilities
Experienced in the field (5 years min)
