Membership Policies

Membership Payment and Renewal Policy
Members may pay in full by check, cash, Visa or MasterCard. A monthly payment plan also is available through automatic credit card charge only. Those who choose the monthly plan must make a 12-month initial commitment. All memberships will be renewed automatically after the initial 12-month commitment. Cancellation requires 30-day written notice.

Reciprocity between the Metro Detroit Jewish Community Centers:

Kahn General = JPM General

Kahn Fitness = JPM General

Kahn Executive = JPM Executive

JPM General = Kahn Fitness*

* When Kahn is open and JPM is closed, JPM Executive = Kahn Executive

Kahn = West Bloomfield JPM = Oak Park

Reciprocity with other Jewish Community Centers
The Center will allow limited time usage of its facilities by individuals who have comparable memberships at other Jewish Community Centers. Please contact membership at 248.432.5496 for West Bloomfield and 248.432.5605 for Oak Park.

Scholarship or Financial Assistance
No one will be denied membership to the Center due to inability to pay the full fees. Adjusted fees and payment plans are available to those who wish to join the Center, but have limited funds. Friends of the Center
Become a friend of the Jewish Community Center! Your contribution will support our programs, activities and facilities. For more information, call the Development Department, 248.432.5590.
