Equipment Requirements

MANDATORY

Helmet - Helmet HECC-approved helmets only Face Protection - Full face protection
- (cage or full I-Tech type shield)
- Required for players under 18 years of age
Face Protection - Full face protection (cage or full I-Tech type shield) required for players under 18 years of age
- No preference between cage or I-Tech type shields
- Visors or half shields allowed only for players 18 years of age and older
- Face protection is mandatory for players 18 years of age who play in Junior House,
Junior Open or High School League
Hockey Gloves - Only approved hockey gloves
Protective Cup - No Explanation Needed
Hockey Shin Guards - Only hockey-approved shin guards
Skates - In-line skates or roller skates allowed
- All skates must be rink safe (if axle bolts protrude, a conversion kit is necessary)
- Skates with missing or severely worn wheels will not be allowed
- Brakes must be in a new condition (if bolt thru brake protrudes and is able to touch floor,
brake must be replaced)
- Brakes must be of non-marking composition (no black heel brakes)
Hockey Stick - Wood, aluminum and graphite sticks are allowed
- Hockey tape may only be in white color
Inline Hockey Pants - All equipment must be covered
Elbow Pads - Only hockey-approved elbow pads
   

OPTIONAL

Shoulder Pads - Provides additional protection
Mouth Guard - Highly recommended
   

All Equipment Approval Will Be The
