The Charles & Frances Driker Library at the Jewish Community Center in Oak Park is a cozy, friendly space for readers of all ages. Our hours are Monday-Thursday 9 a.m.-6 p.m. and Friday 9 a.m.-5 p.m. The library includes a children’s section with puzzles, puppets, stuffed animals and colorful books about the holidays; a Yiddish section; newspapers and magazines; and an extensive collection of books focusing on art, Jewish history, Israel, religion, cooking and much more. Additionally, the Evelyn & Harvey Goldsmith Family Endowment Fund provides a large number of Jewish-themed DVDs and videos, including the Jewish Heritage Video Collection. The rental cost is $2 (Center members) or $4 (Non-members) a week. *
