The Sarah & Irving Pitt Child Development Center is seeking two full-time assistant teachers for our toddler program (14 months – 2 ½ years). Candidates must have the following qualifications:

· Child Development associate degree or higher (preferred)
· Available to work 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. or 9:30 a.m.-6 p.m.
· Ability to work with a team of teachers
· Open to teaching Judaic curriculum
· Previous experience working with toddlers and knowledge of age-appropriate behaviors and milestones preferred
· Must be caring, kind, fun and ready to play, as well as reliable, professional and a team player

Full-time Kindergarten Teacher

The Sarah & Irving Pitt Child Development Center is seeking a Kindergarten teacher for our upcoming school year, 2015-2016. Candidates must have the following qualifications:

· Valid Michigan Elementary Teacher Certificate (K-5 All Subjects, ZA endorsement preferred)
· Demonstrated competence as a teacher or student teacher
· Computer literate with educational programs, email, PowerPoint, etc.
· Excellent verbal and written expression
· Strong interpersonal skills
· Works well in a collaborative environment with students and staff
· Open to teaching a Judaic curriculum as well as a secular curriculum
· Creative, nurturing and experienced

Our Kindergarten classroom is a small group of 12. This is a full-time position, and the Kindergarten teacher would be expected to assist with the afternoon care program, as well. Benefits include:
