Based on the 1958 play “Breath of Spring,” this hilarious musical concerns a group of larcenous old folks who steal furs from New York City stores with the intent of using proceeds to buy their Upper West Side retirement hotel, which is slated to be sold to developers. With music and lyrics by John Kander and Fred Ebb (the creators of “Chicago” and “Cabaret”), “70 Girls 70” is sure to entertain!

Adding to his anxiety, Andrew is renting an apartment once inhabited by John Barrymore, said to have given the 20th century’s best performance of “Hamlet.” Suddenly, Barrymore’s ghost appears and tries to convince Andrew to play the part. Now Andrew must decide between the easy money he could make with a new TV series and facing the world’s most difficult acting challenge.
