KAT stands for Kids All Together, the Jewish Community Center of Metro Detroit’s inclusion program. The mission of KAT is to include children with a disability into general youth programming at the Center. KAT’s goal is to provide a safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment for all children to make new friends, learn life-long social skills, and just have fun being a kid.
Winter is here and we’re busy planning for 2008 summer day camp!
Center Day Camps are for children pre-school age through 9th grade. All programs will be described in detail in the camp brochure, which will be distributed soon. Please note the travel camps - Safari and Caravan - have changed. Applications will be mailed out in early January. You can also download a copy at www.jccdet.org beginning in January.
In the philosophy of inclusion and for the integrity our general camp program we will be using the random drawing registration procedure we used last year. Download our registration procedures and participant guidelines to learn more.
