The Institute for Retired Professionals (IRP)
offers continuing educational experiences for older
adults, through a group of more than 320 members
who are both leaders and learners.
Formed in 1985, the IRP has grown over the years thanks to an enthusiastic group of professionals
55 years of age or older, who willingly serve on committees and volunteer in a variety of roles.
Whatever your skills or talents may be,
IRP has a place for you!
IRP groups meet weekly or semi-monthly at both JCC locations, in West Bloomfield and Oak Park. Topics include Art of Money Management, Biographies, Current Events, Film Study,
Humanities, Implications of Technology,
International Relations, Medical Issues, Opera, Photography, IRP Singers and more.
