The Kahn Building Aquatics Department offers open lap swimming, American Red Cross swim classes, exercise classes, family swim time, shallow children's pools and a competitive swim team, the Hurricanes. With notice, the JCC is able to provide individual inclusion counselors for children with special needs to enable their successful participation in aquatic classes.

There will be no make-ups or pro-rating unless cleared by the Aquatics director. A $10 late fee will be assessed to those who register after the first class has started.

If you cancel class there is a $25 non-refundable administrative fee.

All D. Dan and Betty Kahn aquatic classes are conducted according to American Red Cross Learn to Swim and Water Safety guidelines.
Our teacher-to-student ratio is 1:6, one of the lowest ratios in our area. All instructors are WSI certified, lifeguard certified and have their current CPR with AED and First Aid training.
