Membership Sales 

The JCC is accepting applications for the position of Membership Sales Associate to play a key role in direct membership sales and retention, and day-to-day operations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct sales, application processing, upgrades, downgrades, and cancellations
  • Provide guest passes, day passes, and member ID access cards
  • Serve as a key staff person to provide tours of facility
  • Maintain a warm, welcoming ambiance throughout the center; knowledge of Center services, amenities, and cross sell programming
  • Greet every person who walks through the doors; build and maintain relationships and positive proactive engagement with members and staff
  • Assist with daily retention calls, renewals, and documentation of member request
  • Ensure all prospective members receive appropriate membership information and follow up within 48 hours of first contact
  • Monitor membership cards and member use of facilities.
  • Run and Review weekly/monthly reports and address outstanding issues under the direction and input of the Manager
  • Keep membership accounts current, process all changes and keep accurate records
  • Makes collections calls as needed
  • Assist with front desk coverage as needed

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
  • Proven sales experience, preferably in a fitness and/or membership sales capacity
  • Outstanding people skills and commitment to excellent customer service
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office; membership database program
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a timely manner; fast pace environment


 Days/Hours:  Monday through Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm
