Located on 250 beautiful wooded acres of the JCC, each week will feature a different themed experience, geared for different ages and abilities of walkers or hikers.  All participants will receive discounted entry into the JCC outdoor pool for that day only (no rain checks).  Participants should park and meet on the west side of the building, at the inline hockey and (new) pool entrance.  Free and open to the public.

Together, with West Bloomfield Parks Naturalist, Lauren Azoury, we will explore the world of bugs in this hands-on investigation into things that flit, buzz and crawl.  Nets and magnified bug boxes will be available for use.

During this easy-level hike, parents and their children (ages birth -3 and their siblings) will explore nature thru a Jewish lens while Rabbi Brent and Jill Gutmann and Gail Greenberg, Lifelong Learning and Religious School Director share songs and stories on the trail.

A Special Walk
Join the Special Needs Department (Stephanie Zoltowski and Dave Sexton) for a Very Special Walk on July 22nd, where families who have children with special needs will take part in a nature scavenger hunt up at camp and make a nature suncatchers! We will also serve a nature-themed kosher snack following the scavenger hunt and arts and crafts project. Come join us for a fun morning!

Let's walk, share a reading, and connect ourselves as the Adam (earthling) to the Adamah (earth) from which we came, and to which we shall ultimately return.
