Since the 1920s, new voices emerged in Hebrew poetry, the voices of women. These four poets were the trailblazers of their contemporaries, forever remembered as a part of the Israeli collective memory and identity. Their unique writing of Hebrew poetry touched topics of individuality, motherhood, love, sexuality, madness, and loss.
