JCC PERSONAL TRAINERS
Jenny is an AFAA certified personal trainer and fitness instructor. She has a Bachelor of Science in Education from Eastern Michigan. She has additional certifications in:
- INSANITY TM
- Precision Nutrition
Jenny works with men and women of all ages and fitness levels, and offers both group and individual training. She enjoys teaching boot camp and Tobada style classes and will customize a fitness program that will help you reach and maintain your fitness goals.
Lori is and AFAA, ACE and ACSM certified personal trainer, an American Academy of Health and Fitness Med Specialist, and an IDEA Elite professional trainer. She has her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Masters of Education from Marygrove College. She has been a trainer for over 30 years and has additional certifications in:
- Functional Strength and Balance
- Pre- and Post-Rehab
Lori is a functional conditioning and exercise specialist. She focuses on strength, flexibility, cardiovascular capacity, joint stability, balance and coordination as well as functional strength and endurance. She offers personal training to men and women of all ages, and also offers nutritional counseling and weight loss programs to her clients.
Bill is an AFAA certified personal trainer with an Associate degree in Electronic Engineering from Schoolcraft Community College. Bill is also a Certified Massage Therapist and has additional certifications in MADD Dog Spinning.
Bill enjoys working with all types of clients to help them achieve their fitness goals. His ongoing training in massage therapy has significantly increased his knowledge of the body’s dynamic function.
Marc is an AFAA certified personal trainer and has a degree from Oakland Community College. Marc is experienced in cardiovascular issues and training individuals with those concerns, and focuses on safety recommendations and techniques with his clients. Marc specializes in training individuals of all ages and has success in improving strength, flexibility and endurance regardless of age or physical conditions. Marc incorporates proper nutrition specific to individual needs.
Frank is an ACE certified personal trainer and group fitness Instructor and has a degree in Exercise Science. He has additional certifications in:
- Basic Back Care
- Adult Fitness
Frank specializes in basic back care programs, posture, strength, flexibility, balance and core, and older adult fitness programs. He currently teaches TRX 101 and Basic Back Care classes at the JCC.
Nichole is an AFAA certified personal trainer and fitness Instructor. She is a U of M grad with a specialization in Lifestyle management and Youth fitness and is on the National Council of Certified Personal Trainers. She is on the Wayne County Fitnesswise Program as an Advisor/Board Member and a member of the Governor’s Council on Physical Exercise. Nichole has additional certifications in:
- Yoga Fitness
- Peak Pilates
- Johnny G. Spinning
Nichole teaches Yoga, Pilates, TRX, weights and spinning at the JCC. She is a fitness consultant who believes in a total mind, body and spirit transformation. Nichole lost 100 pounds in 2003 and has kept it off ever since!
Igor is a certified WITS personal trainer with a degree in Sports Medicine and Kinesiology from Wayne State University and is a member of the Black Belt Association of Marital Arts. He has additional certifications in:
- EMT, specializing in rehabilitation
- Tae Kwan Do
- Combat, SAMBO-practical self- defense/self- improvement
Igor is happy to work with men and women of any age. He specializes in intense sports and weight conditioning and sport-specific training with youth and developing athletes. Igor will design and implement plyometric training programs, strength, speed, power and Russian-style regimens.
Justin is an AFAA certified personal trainer. He attended Wayne State University with a concentration in Exercise Science. Justin has been at the JCC since 2003 and enjoys training clients of all ages and backgrounds. He focuses on weight loss, increasing strength and physical rehabilitation.
Diane is an ACE certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor, and a certified massage therapist. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Special Education and Exercise Science from OCC. Diane has been at the JCC since 1991 and teaches Bodywork classes as well as other group fitness classes. She has additional certifications in:

- Lifestyle Management
Diane trains men and women of all ages and specializes in post-rehab training and recovery programs.
Sue is the Fitness Director at the JCC and an ACE-Certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor with a degree from OCC, where she attended the Exercise Science program. Sue has been in the health and fitness field for over 25 years, working with individuals and groups of all ages, with a concentration on those with joint, back, and flexibility/balance issues. She believes that exercise should be fun and educational. Sue has additional training in:

- Facilitated Stretching and Balance
- Fall Prevention
Michael is an ACE certified personal trainer and fitness instructor. He is also AEA certified to teach and train in the water. He has been in the fitness industry for 20 years and has certifications in:
- Senior Fitness Programming
- Fitness coaching
- MADD Dog Spin
Michael began his Fitness Career as a spin instructor in the corporate world and continues to do so. Mike teaches spin classes at the JCC.
Michelle is an ISSA certified personal trainer. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Eastern Michigan University. Nichole specializes in strength and endurance training and enjoys working with clients of all ages.
Lisa is an AFAA certified personal Trainer and fitness instructor. She has a Master’s Degree in Science and Administration from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/Advertising from BGSU. She has been at the JCC since 2004 and has additional certifications in:

- Youth Fitness
- Core, Strength and Flexibility
- Injury Prevention
Lisa believes in a cross-training approach to fitness. She uses both traditional and alternative forms of strength training. Her fitness regime consists of running, biking, swimming, and teaching Muscle Jam, TRX, and Strength on the Ball classes at the JCC. She believes in a healthy lifestyle and healthy eating habits, and will develop an individualized program to meet your fitness goals.
